Insights Into Teens: Episode 171 ”Pride Month”

June is Pride Month and across the world there are celebrations and commemorations to recognize all who identify as LGBTQ and their allies. While the rainbows and glitter may catch your eye, at the heart of Pride Month is a call for greater unity, visibility and equality for the LGBTQ community, as well as a time to reflect on the milestones of the past 50 years.

Today, we’re going to answer some of the biggest questions about Pride Month, including why it’s celebrated in June and how the rainbow flag came to be a universal symbol of solidarity.

Insights Into Teens: Episode 37 “Diversity and Discrimination”

We celebrate what makes us different in our diversity and how the melding of cultures, religions, ethnicity and preferences makes us stronger. We also look at fear, close minded and an unwillingness to learn are the basis of discrimination. Hatred and intolerance is the root of discrimination and all of the negative effects it has on us and how it holds society back. We’ll also look at what we as individuals can to do overcome discrimination, stand strong and celebrate the unity of our diversity. Insights Into Entertainment: Episode 18 “Marvelously Batty”
